For the second part of our collaboration with GAP centred on the most iconic American national parks, we travelled with Cereal friend and photographer Finn Beales, and his son Harlan, to Olympic National Park in the Pacific Northwest.
At Hurricane Ridge, a deep fog washes over the mountains and forms a blanket over the evergreen valleys of pine trees that cascade into the distance. Within just a few hours of driving along the coast, the faded blues and stoney sands of Ruby Beach colour the scene. As the sun dips, the evening light casts a golden brown hue, creating a steady glow that envelops the rocky shores as the tide wades out towards the wild Pacific.
