Located in Southern Algarve of Portugal, within the Costa Vicentina National Park, Sagres is a small parish town. With a resident population of less than two thousand, its narrow streets feel both bright and calming; pastel hues colour the facades of homes and soft clouds glide above the palm trees.

Just outside of town, Hotel Martinhal sits on the ocean front, its wooden block villas overlooking the water; whose quiet bands of sandy yellow, cyan and deep blue fade into the horizon.

The beaches are peaceful and expansive, and the wind is one of the main attractions to the area. Surfers and windsurfers dot the rolling waves, with the exposed coastline providing stretches of deserted, pristine sand and swells.
