Scarves as Still Life

A series of still life photographs, inspired by the distinctive mood and shadows of 17th century Dutch Masters paintings. The soft texture of cashmere contrasts with coarse stone jugs and bottles; a husk of corn lies against smooth rolls of tartan; the soft flesh of a lemon peers out from behind its curling rind. Draped folds fall from a mantelpiece and the orb of an orange reflects the hem on a slate grey scarf.
