Graanmarkt13

A Concept Lifestyle

Housed in a historic, whitewashed townhouse on a tree-lined square in the city centre, Graanmarkt13 is designed by Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen in his signature Brutalist style. Softened by the generous use of natural materials in muted tones, this multi-purpose space – which includes a concept store, restaurant, gallery and short-term rental apartment – is a place where its warmth and effortless style makes everyone feel at ease. We can’t help but wish that we could move in and call it home. Conceived and run by husband and wife team Tim Van Geloven and Ilse Cornelissens, Graanmarkt13 is understated in disposition – you won’t find big signage on the façade or heavily merchandised shop windows here – and is a paean to contemporary Belgian design.
