For the second part of our collaboration with GAP – centred on the most iconic American national parks – we travelled with Cereal friend and photographer Finn Beales, and his son Harlan, to Olympic National Park in the Pacific Northwest.
At Hurricane Ridge, a deep fog washes over the mountains and forms a blanket over the evergreen valleys of pine trees that cascade into the distance. Within just a few hours of driving along the coast, the faded blues and stoney sands of Ruby Beach colour the scene. As the sun dips, the evening light casts a golden brown hue, creating a steady glow that envelops the rocky shores as the tide wades out towards the wild Pacific.
